Intensive Outpatient Programs in Virginia

Prosperity’s Premier Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is comprehensive and evidence-based and offered to all genders, ages, and types of eating disorders. We believe the best treatment plans are unique to each person’s needs, strengths, and interests.

Our IOP program is a great step down from a partial hospitalization program or if outpatient therapy is not enough.

Prosperity provides 12 hours of therapy, dietetic counseling, and programming. IOP programming runs three nights a week for three hours a night, from 5 pm-8 pm. Prosperity offers individual and nutrition counseling by highly skilled eating disorder specialists who are dedicated to helping each client fully recover. Each day of the program consists of two hours of group therapy and one hour of meal support. Each week, loved ones are encouraged to attend an in-person family support group.
Adult IOP is 18+ In Person in Herndon and Norfolk from 8-11 am, 10:45-1:45p.m or 5-8 pm.
Adolescent IOP is for ages 10-17. In Person in Herndon and Norfolk from 5 pm-8 pm.

Adult Virtual IOP is from 5pm-8pm.

Prosperity strives to reach clients who may not have access to eating disorder treatment due to distance, availability, or other challenges.
